Description
Centre Concrete Products, a subsidiary of Centre Concrete Company, Inc., is searching for a new outside sales representative to maintain its current customer base within its Product Division, as well as generate new business opportunities throughout Centre Concrete’s market territory. Centre Concrete is a ready mixed concrete manufacturer located in northcentral and northeastern Pennsylvania with ten stationary facilities, three portable facilities, and two concrete product stores.
The individual will work directly with the Company’s Sales Director to increase value added sales through the ready mixed concrete division to provide our customers with one-stop service. Maintaining and fostering existing relationships with customers will be a large portion of time, along with identifying new markets and new customers. The individual should be a self-starter who is comfortable with walking onto construction sites to meet with points of contacts. While most meetings will be with warm contacts, the outside sales representative should be comfortable with making cold calls.
Further duties will be to conduct customer visits, site visits, attend conferences/maintain a booth, attend business development events, and a full and thorough understanding of concrete products with the ability to provide on-site demonstrations. The individual will also help manage the Company’s two stores, along with the purchasing of products through a PO system.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Prior sales experience a must – minimum of 3-years
• Demonstrated ability with client relationship management and new business development
• Excellent time management & organization skills
• Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
• Ready Mixed Concrete knowledge & associated ancillary products
• Commercial/Residential construction background
• Experience operating Command Alkon preferred, though other batching programs are a bonus.
• Use & understanding of PO ordering systems

Description
WANTED: Centre Concrete is hiring a Dispatcher to work in it's State College, PA plant. Responsible for working with contractors to record orders and schedule concrete throughout Centre Concrete’s delivery area. The role requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment. The successful candidate will also serve as a liaison for ordering materials, interacting with ready mixed concrete drivers, quality control personnel and the concrete batcher. A background in concrete or construction is preferred, but is not necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate who possess the right attitude and communication skills. Computer skills are required. Pay rate is based on skill and experience. Overtime of time and a half is paid for all hours over 40 per week. Excellent health benefits along with 401k plan, paid holidays and vacation are included. Must be willing to work early morning hours for all days of the week. WANTED: Safe, reliable, professional CDL drivers to operate ready mixed concrete trucks for a local reputable Ready Mixed Concrete Manufacturer (Centre Concrete Company). Drivers should have a Class B, Tanker Endorsement CDL. Deliveries are local and will not require overnight travel. Pay rate is $21.65/hour ($22.15 after April 1, 2022) with time and a half after 8-hours worked per day. Weekly pay day is every Thursday. Excellent health benefits along with a pension plan and a 401k plan are included. Paid time off and holidays are included as part of the benefit package. Must be willing to work early morning hours for all days of the week. All hours on Saturday are at time and a half. No slip seating.
